George Rose Memorial Workday

I want to extend a hearty Thank You to our wonderful crew! Sixteen volunteers came to the George Rose Memorial workday, at Washington Park, on November 2nd. We were aided by two wonderful park district employees who brought the chipper truck. Together we were able to remove and stump treat a large number of invasive honeysuckle bushes. While there is more work to be done, we sure made a great start on it. I know George was smiling down on us!
