Plant Of The Week

Celandine Poppy (Stylophorum diphyllum): These beautiful woodland gems are blooming at Gudmundsen Wildlife Sanctuary! A perennial that loves rich soil found in moist shady woodlands, Celandine Poppies are native to the eastern United States and Ontario. The foliage grows 12 to 20 inches tall, and the bright yellow flowers are displayed above it. If you would like to add these lovely spring flowers to your home woodland garden, they make great companions for wild columbines.
