Wednesday Wish – Tomato Cages

Volunteers have been working hard to remove exotic, invasive species as well as create rest and observation areas along the bike trail starting at the Hazel Dell parking lot and heading south. They have established an amazing number of shrubs (fragrant sumac, American cranberry, ninebark & more) as well as an impressive number of native forbs and grasses. They are looking for donations of tomato cages to help hold the plants upright. If you have any to contribute to the project, you can leave them at the bike trail parking lot or bring them to our event on Saturday (10/28) at the Gudmundson Wildlife Sanctuary (2-5 p.m.).
